作為中小學界於 Cisco Networking Academy (Hong Kong & Macau) Council（簡稱：Netacad）中唯一代表，十多年來 AiTLE 一直與 Netacad 合作無間，除每年籌辦「Annual Conference」及「Skill Competition」外，自 2015 年起，更每年協助籌辦 Cisco Instructor Training（註），令不少老師可透過免費培訓，得到認可的 Cisco Instructor 資格。今年 AiTLE 繼續與 Netacad 籌辦 Free Cisco Instructor Training。詳情如下：

  • Free Cisco ITE Instructors Training
    • Format :
      • Online & In-person
    • Date, Time and Venue
      • Online(Webex)
        • Date : 2019-08-19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 (6 evenings)
        • Time : 8pm – 10pm (2 chapters each evening plus revision)
      • In-Person(Skill Test)
        • Date & Time (any one of the below timeslot) :
          • 2019-08-22 (THUR) 09:30 – 12:30 or
          • 2019-08-22 (THUR) 14:00 – 17:00 or
          • 2019-08-23 (FRI) 09:30 – 12:30 or
          • 2019-08-23 (FRI) 14:00 – 17:00
        • Venue : Room 502, Youth College (Kwai Fong), 85 Hing Shing Rd, Kwai Chung, N.T.

    • Passing Requirement 
      • 70% In-person Attendance +
      • 75% Skill Test +
      • 75% online exam
    • Obligation
      • Each instructor participant is required to fulfill either one of the requirements stated below within the coming academic year – by Sept 2020
        • Option 1
          • at least 15 students of the IT Essential, and
          • 15 students of Introduction to Packet Tracer per participant
        • Option 2
          • at least 60 students for any or some of the following new courses per participant
            • Introduction to Packet Tracer
            • Networking Essentials
            • Introduction to IoT
            • NDG Linux Unhatched
            • NDG Linux Essential
            • Get Connected
            • Introduction to Cybersecurity
            • Cybersecurity Essentials
            • Mobility Fundamentals
            • CLA: Programming Essentials in C
            • CLA: Programming Essentials in C++
            • Entrepreneurship
            • Be Your Own Boss
            • and any upcoming new courses in the future
        • Option 3
          • a mix of the two options above in right percentages
            • e.g. 10 ITE students & Introduction to Packet Tracer and 20 new courses students

      • Deadline for Application : 2019-08-15
    • Remark :
      • Due to packed schedules of the training, all participants please ensure that you take time to go through the course materials in advance of the training as a preparation

      • All new Academy instructors are required to complete the Academy Orientation course, may enroll in the self-paced Academy Orientation course
