BYOD 在香港學界已不是新做法，在很多學校均已推行，而且見證其對學與教的幫助。在香港推行 BYOD 的過程中，大部份學校都是使用 iPad 作為學生使用的設備。而當中不可或缺的當然是「Apple School Manager」及「Mobile Device Management」。兩者對 BYOD 有著非常重要的幫助。
近年，Apple / ASM 就 BYOD 的推行上，多了一些功能，同時，亦有不少很好的 App 適合 BYOD 使用。為令同工們對 iPad @ BYOD Deployment 有更 update 及更深入的了解，AiTLE 邀得不同 iPad BYOD Deployment 有關的伙伴，於 2024 年 4 月 11 日（星期四）下午進行分享。同時，同工們關心的「優質教育基金電子學習撥款計劃—提供流動電腦裝置及上網支援」是否仍會繼續一事，屆時亦邀得教育局同工前來作出 update。而另外，AiTLE 亦正與 Apple 及相關伙伴合作草擬「Handbook on BYOD」，活動當天會發放「Part 1 ： Deployment and Technical support」予出席同工。
