AiTLE Seminar & Workshop on Web Accessibility & IVE-QEF Flipped Learning Materials for ICT Teaching

Dates: 09/01/2018 Times: 09:30 - 13:00 Location: Immaculate Heart of Mary College, Jat Min Chuen, Shatin, N.T. (Shatin Wai MTR)

Web Accessibility is one of the topics that students need to know no matter in the HKDSE ICT curriculum or even though Junior Form CL lessons. Also, as web master of school, we should also know more about web accessibility in theory and practical part. However, there are lack of materials related for us to use for teaching or reference for our website production and maintenance.

AiTLE is glad to have the support from HKIRC and OGCIO in providing materials for us as a reference of ICT / CL teaching re Web Accessibility and also useful for our school website enhancement.

Besides with the help from HKIRC and OGCIO, AiTLE is also glad to be a close-partner of IVE-QEF ICT Flipped Learning Project. The project is applied by IVE, funded by QEF, on producing a series of videos and exercises for school to use freely if they are interested to try Flipped Learning in their ICT and/or CL lessons. There already has a series of videos and exercises are produced and will be released for interested schools to use. The videos and exercises covered the CORE and the 4 OPTIONS / ELECTIVES of the HKDSE ICT Curriculum.

In order to release the above materials for schools to use in the new academic year, and for schools to plan for the new academic year teaching schedule, AiTLE will launch an event called “AiTLE Seminar & Workshop on Web Accessibility & IVE-QEF Flipped Learning Materials for ICT Teaching” on 2018-09-01 (SAT) AM.
