AiTLE Recommend : EDB (TCS) : Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Series – (1) Seminar on Understanding MIL and Journalistic Profession

In this digital era, students learn via different channels and media, and are susceptible to different sources of influence. Media and information literacy (MIL) equips students with the ability to locate, evaluate and understand media and information in various forms. With MIL, students are able to use information critically and create solutions effectively. In order to further support schools to promote MIL, the Education Bureau collaborates with the Journalism Education Foundation (JEF) to organise a series of teacher training courses from March to July 2021. Objective :
– To promote the importance of MIL
– To enable the participants to understand MIL and journalistic profession
– To enable the participants to handle messages coming from different sources correctly and effectively
