AiTLE + IVE Chai Wan : Robotics Workshop (learn programming technique together with basic electrical and mechanical knowledge) @ 29/6 (FULL) & 4/7 (for Schools at HK Island)

Dates: 07/04/2019 Times: 13:30 - 16:30 Location: Room 256, Department of Engineering, HKIVE(Chai Wan), 30 Shing Tai Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong.

Robotics can be applied to various trade and industry. Different kinds of robots are appearing in our daily life nowadays, from the automatic delivery car in sushi restaurants to elderly care robotics. In order to prepare our next generation to acquire the knowledge and technology for the future, appreciation of robotics is introduced to secondary school.

Today, the cost for the equipment is lower and the devices are very powerful, sophisticate robotic principles could be demonstrated easily.

In the workshop, teachers will learn programming technique together with basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, and build their own inverted pendulum unit.
